Warehouse Picker/Packer

British Essentials is a leading online retailer of British food and drink products, serving customers all over the world. As a Warehouse Operative, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our customers receive their orders accurately and on time. You will work as part of a team to pick, pack, and dispatch goods in our busy warehouse, ensuring that all processes are carried out efficiently and to a high standard.

Responsibilities:

• Picking products from shelves and accurately placing orders together
• Packing products carefully and efficiently to ensure they arrive in perfect condition
• Preparing orders for dispatch, ensuring that they are labelled correctly and dispatched in a timely manner
• Unloading and receiving goods into the warehouse, ensuring they are stored correctly and safely
• Keeping the warehouse clean and tidy, ensuring that health and safety standards are maintained at all times
• Carrying out stock checks and reporting any discrepancies to the Warehouse Manager
• Assisting with the unpacking and organising of new stock deliveries
• Following standard operating procedures and health and safety guidelines at all times

Requirements:

• Experience working in a warehouse or similar environment
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy skills
• Good communication skills and ability to work well in a team
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet targets
• Flexibility with working hours, including the ability to work weekends
• A positive, can-do attitude and willingness to learn
• Ability to lift and move heavy objects
• Good knowledge of health and safety regulations

This Picker / Packer role will be 5 days per week, 8:30am – 4pm
