Position Overview & Specifications
This exciting role of ESG reporting specialist based in London will work closely with Environmental Sustainability Engagement specialist and Accounting Manager to design, implement and complete the monthly reporting on various ESG regulations.
- Attend webinars and meetings with external stakeholders to understand the progress of various environmental regulations updates including standards developments, regulatory changes, and best practices.
- Coordinate the efforts to comply with these environmental regulations by bringing key stakeholders together and updating them on the action points.
- Responsibility for the completeness and accuracy of various monthly reports to the relevant authorities such as Recycling Compliance - Valpak, Plastic Packaging Tax, Deposit Return Scheme Scotland, Extended Producers Responsibility UK wide etc.
- Partner with relevant internal (TPIM, Packaging team etc) and external (customers, vendors) stakeholders to gather the necessary information to complete the report.
- Partner with the B-F Global Supply Chain team to interpret the various technical requirements and develop a standard reporting tool that can be used to assist with future reporting.
- Assists Environmental Sustainability engagement specialist in the development of local and regional sustainability strategies to ensure alignment with B-F strategies.
- Coordinate with the Accounting team for payment of the different ESG schemes.
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience.
- Intermediate to 'expert' level using spreadsheets (Excel or Google Sheets).
- Strong interpersonal skills; able to develop and maintain effective working relationships with all levels of internal and external contacts and with diverse cultures.
- Strong written and oral communication skills.
- Good self-management skills to plan and drive forward work to meet deadlines, while also having the flexibility to change priorities when required.
- Ability to manage a broad range of stakeholders, influence them to build consensus and drive them to meet deadlines.
Preferred Experience
- 1-2 years of industry experience in ESG field with environmental sustainability programming and engagement initiatives, including process design.
