Position Overview & Specifications
Position of key responsibility to ensure security of premises, staff and to preserve stock integrity.
· Key Holder position as such should be independent and display utmost integrity
· Patrol premises to prevent and detect signs of intrusion and ensure security of doors, windows and gates
· Answer alarms and investigate disturbances
· Monitor and authorise entrance and departure of employees, visitors deliveries vehicles and other
· Persons to guard against theft and maintain security of premises, including the movement of stock in and out of the building
· Conduct and log random searches
· Update Security Log with activities and irregularities, such as equipment or property damage, theft, presence of unauthorized persons, or unusual occurrences
· Call police or fire departments in cases of emergency, such as fire or presence of unauthorised persons
· Circulate among visitors and employees to preserve order and protect property
· Warn persons of rule infractions or violations or evict violators from premises
· Operate detecting devices to screen individuals and prevent passage of prohibited articles into restricted areas, including operating the CCTV system in accordance with the company policy.
SIA Licence essential. CCTV preferred not essential. Polite, presentable with a good command of English as will be required to write reports, DOB's. Computer literate, as daily duties will involve emails and spreadsheets. This list is not exhaustive.
5 year checkable work history. Vetting to BS7858. Right to work in the UK.
