Position Overview & Specifications
Business Analyst
- You will be an integral part of the squad supporting the shaping and delivery of various customer-facing propositions & your responsibilities will include (but will not be limited to)
- Working closely with Product Managers, architects, engineers and the design team to gather the requirements that define the technical solutions and ensure they meet the needs of both the product & technical roadmaps
- Ensure all solution artefacts conform to Agile methodologies and practices
- Define solutions that promote simplicity, re-use of components and advocate product solutions that are robust and focus on providing an excellent customer experience
- Proactively share emerging technologies and improvements to Agile methodologies & ways of working to help build the community
- Proven experience working in a large-scale Digital, Agile environment.
- Delivering to challenging timescales in a technical environment
- Ability to deal with conflicting demands across propositions in different stages of the delivery lifecycle
- Working within multi-discipline squads with both onshore/offshore members whilst maintaining a strong working relationship
- Ability to understand complex business, IT design and development requirements taking into consideration their functional and non-functional needs
- Work collaboratively within cross-functional teams, building relationships with internal and external stakeholders to elicit requirements & acceptance criteria to ensure the business objectives and product vision is being delivered.
- Understand complex issues, identify root causes, analyse options, develop recommendations and deliver solutions which result in business growth
- Develop initial requirements, break down business problems into epics, features and user stories and manage through change control
- Present analysis and process reviews to stakeholder and project groups
- Facilitate and manage workshops and meetings with business and technology
- Identify risks and track them through to resolution, utilise tools such as Jira to manage tasks, produce project status updates and ensure issues and risks are communicated to stakeholders appropriately
- Support business testing to ensure readiness for change (e.g. UAT, Training, documentation etc.)
