The Business Development Manager delivers growth within existing customers, understanding their specific requirements and objectives to identify and deliver against strategic opportunities.
You’ll build strong relationships with the health trusts across the North East, Yorkshire and Humber, and East Midlands regions to become engaged in the long term strategic planning conversations that will lead us to the solutions that can transform our customers businesses.
What you’ll be doing
  • Builds relationships with key customers to understand how BT’s health strategy, innovation and product portfolio can help health trusts in delivering their strategic objectives.
  • Builds pipeline and identifies specific qualified opportunities to be taken forward within existing accounts.
  • Supports in the creation of compelling proposals with a customer focus and demonstrating expertise as well as a value within the health sector.
  • Supports proposal response creation and oral presentation by collating information, expertise and resources assisting in the creation of solutions.
  • Supports in generating reports, analysis, and action plans regarding client results and business development activities.
  • Maintains strong links to Account Managers, benefitting from shared knowledge and aligned aim.
  • Champions, continuously develops, and shares with team knowledge on emerging trends and changes in client markets.
What we'd like to see from you
  • Proven track record of developing business within accounts.
  • Experience in the Telecoms sector.
  • Able to build excellent customer relationships.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Ideally, experience working with the NHS.
