OFNL have been connecting UK homes to our open access fibre network since 2008 and we are recruiting for a Fibre Field Technician. We are looking for people to be based in and around Milton Keynes and Cambridge. The ideal candidate will already have an understanding of Telecoms and looking to take their next step in their Fibre career. As an OFNL fibre Field Technician your primary duties will include:
- Maintenance of OFNL’s network equipment
- Site audits against network design standards and specifications
- Act as an OFNL representative and provide escort for third party access
- Provide ‘remote hands’ for NOC engineering teams
- Offer support to Field Engineers
- Create and maintain OFNL documentation
