- Adhere to our childcare policies so all settings are consistent and delivering high quality childcare & best practice always
- Attend training to ensure you are always up to date with curriculums / programme requirements in the nursery
- Be a key player to ensure the nursery receives excellent outcomes in internal audits and those of external authorities such as Ofsted, CI and CIW • Show true professionalism in your communication style
- Ensure you understand and abide by HR policies and procedures at all times
- As a keyworker for a group of children you will ensure every individual child’s needs are met, every day
- Safeguarding children is your priority making sure all children in the setting are safe and protected from harm
- Speak Up against practices that don’t support safeguarding or Our Core Values
- Get to know the families at the setting especially of your key children to create a trusting rapport with parents
- Update parents on their child’s day and development with invaluable professional feedback
- Support parents with any SEN/ASL needs their child has or that are identified with respect, care and professionalism
- Be present at parents’ evenings and open days to promote your nursery and showcase your brilliance and excellence
- Take responsibility for your role and aspire to Being your Best at all times
