Position Overview & Specifications
Our Frodsham office is seeking an experienced Receptionist for their busy office.
Branch: Frodsham
Hours: Monday – Friday 8.30 – 5.00pm
Purpose of Role: Providing high level, comprehensive administrative and reception support to the Frodsham office.
Responsible to: Partner managing the office
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Meeting and greeting Clients.
- Keeping the reception area clear and tidy.
- Answering, screening and forwarding phone calls.
- Taking messages and ensuring they are passed on to the right team member in a timely manner.
- Making appointment and booking meetings.
- Assisting senior team members in opening the post and then distributing as necessary.
- Collection and delivery of DX and Royal Mail including dealing with special and recorded deliveries.
- Taking the banking to the Bank each day.
- Filing, faxing and photocopying as required.
- Controlling and maintaining stationery supplies.
- Shopping for office supplies.
- Locating archived files and documents and delivery of same as required.
- Keeping up to date on shredding confidential waste paper throughout the office.
- Maintaining the archived storage areas in a neat and tidy state.
- Such other tasks as the firm may from time to time require.
Qualifications: Grades A – C in Maths and English preferred but not essential
Experience: Relevant experience desirable but not essential
Knowledge / Skills:
- Communicate effectively and courteously and convey information accurately.
- Work calmly and accurately under pressure.
- Prioritise tasks.
- Work co-operatively with other staff.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
- Willingness and ability to learn new technology.
