Senior Finance Assistant

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Finance Assistant to join the Finance team in a Senior Finance Assistant capacity at the DoubleTree by Hilton Cadbury House.

The position will offer excellent scope for progression across the group so the successful candidate will need to be a motivated individual looking to learn and progress. This is an ideal opportunity for a finance assistant looking to further their career in a fully self-accounting hotel and transition to a supervisory/management position once their training is completed.

The role will be challenging and varied and will include the following:

- Full Management of the purchase ledger function

- Income Audit

- Cash & Banking

- Voucher Reconciliations

- Supporting the sales ledger function

- Bank Reconciliations

- Assisting with month-end duties

The ideal candidate will be:

- A Finance/Accounts Assistant, ideally with strong exposure to purchase ledger. Hospitality experience would be an advantage

- Educated to degree level or studying towards an accountancy qualification

- Experience of Sage 50 would be an advantage

- Strong Microsoft Office Skills

- Within commutable distance or willing to relocate.
