Night Porter - Part Time

Caer Rhun Hall is opening in Spring 2023, we are now looking to recruit the best people for our opening team.

We’re looking for an enthusiastic and responsible Part-time Night Porter to join our team – 24h hours per week.

Caer Rhun nestled in the stunning Conwy countryside will open with 32 stunning bedrooms, cosy and relaxing lounge bar, breakfast room and great event spaces.

Key Responsibilities of the Night Porter

· Ensuring the safety and security of our wonderful guests and hotel is a main priority of our wonderful guests and hotel

· Remain calm under pressure and able to take any challenges in your stride

· Be an all-rounder helping to fulfil many different roles whilst on shift such as bar, cleaning, setting up event spaces, preparing and delivering room service food orders

· You will thrive on making our guest feel welcome and at home and be excellent at building a rapport with new and returning guests

· You will have a through knowledge of our wonderful hotel and services

· Be proficient in hotel computer system Guestline, training will be provided

· You will be personable, engaging, welcoming and helpful to all guests at all times.

· You must take pride in your work, and be well-presented, articulate, and passionate about customer service.

This is a full time role that involves working from 11pm to 7.30am three days a week to include the weekends on a rota basis.

Night Porter - about you

· Full, clean driving license is required due to our rural location

· Experience working in a previous Night Porter role or hotel environment is essential

· Have a keen interest in customer service and delivering the best customer service

· Confidence and motivation for working throughout the night is essential

· You will need excellent attention to detail, providing first-class customer service at all time, ensuring that every interaction exceeds the guests’ expectations
