Are you passionate about improving the health and wellbeing outcomes for people in Calderdale? Would you be interested in expanding and developing your career in Adult Social care? If so, you could be the person we are looking for.

We want to be innovative and creative in the way we work to deliver our service to our communities and have recently undergone a restructure which will take Adult Services in an exciting direction and want you to be part of these changes that we know are needed.

We are seeking individuals who are passionate about adult social care and providing a high-quality service and are keen to develop their professional experience and knowledge. You will be a key part in ensuring our continued success in fulfilling the Council’s statutory responsibilities under the Care Act 2014. The service is committed to helping people to achieve the outcomes that matter to them in their life and the successful applicant will work closely with colleagues to protect an adult’s right to live in safely, free from abuse and neglect. There are also opportunities for individuals looking to start their Social Care career. The successful candidates will be joining a recently re-structured service that is dedicated to strengths-based and outcome-focused practice.

We are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children, young people and vulnerable adults and expect all staff to share this commitment. Applicants to posts that are exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act will require a DBS from the Disclosure and Barring Service before the appointment is confirmed.
