Airport Welcoming Staff

We are the UK’s leading American Style Overnight Summer Camp for campers aged 7-17, and we welcome over 400 children from 41 different nationalities to our Edinburgh and Crieff sites every summer.

We are looking for a highly motivated and competent individual to assist with our airport pick up and drop off days during the summer. We offer a pickup/drop off service to our campers if they arrive at Edinburgh airport and we need highly responsible and positive staff to greet our campers at the airport.

On arrival/departure days you would assist our cabin counsellors at the airport ensuring campers are escorted to and from arrival gates/security safely and efficiently, you would also be required to keep our camper’s company and occupied whilst they wait to board the bus to camp. You might be the first person they meet off the plane and they may be feeling nervous or tired from travel so it’s important they are greeted by someone who is positive and welcoming. Campers may also be accompanied by parents, so it is important that our Airport Assistant acts with professionalism and maturity.

This an ideal position if you are looking to gain more experience working with children and make some extra money this summer.

Pay and hours:

£13 per hour, approximately £104 - £156 per day

Between 8 - 12 hours per day.
