Position Overview & Specifications
We are a well established accountancy practice in Rochdale and an opportunity has arisen for a tech savvy administrator to join our team.
A day in the life of your new role will include:
- Reception duties, including answering incoming calls, emails and scheduling appointments
- Follows up on phone calls, emails and contacts as appropriate
- Walking new clients through our on-boarding processes and assisting ex clients to smoothly off board.
- Assisting with enquires about any of our services
- Support to Senior Accountants
- Develop and implement new administrative systems/processes to drive efficiencies and automate where possible
- Use a range of software, including email, spreadsheets and databases, to ensure the efficient running of the office
- Manage online and paper filing systems and scanning documents in to our electronic systems.
- Ensure office & clients meet all compliance requirements
- Supporting invoicing and chasing for late payments
- Communicating with internal teams, assisting with other ad hoc Administration tasks.
- Assist with business development opportunities
- Assisting with Companies House filings for our clients
- Other Ad-hoc task as required
We'd love to speak to you if have:
- Excellent command of the English language, both written and speaking
- Proven experience in office administration - at least 1 year
- Strong organisation and time management skills
- Proficiency in MS office, in particular Excel and Outlook
- Strong communication skills, confident communicating with internal and external stakeholders
