Care Support Worker

What we’re looking for:

This full time, permanent Care Support Worker role requires somebody who is positive, kind and caring to be focussed on encouraging choice, self-worth and supporting our customers to live their best life.

We are looking for people who can work alongside our Peabody Values and support our customers who have a learning disability to enjoy their lives to the full and have the opportunity to fulfil all their dreams and aspirations.

This vacancy is based in one of our Essex Services which is based in Laindon/Basildon and does require you to be flexible enough to work across a 24/7 rota which does cover a 365 days a year.

A bit about the role:

This full time, permanent Care Support Worker role will include an element of personal care, helping to prepare food, support administration of medication and support with our customers Health and Wellbeing. You will also be required to support our customers to enjoy recreational activities and explore new adventures.

Driving is not essential, however you will be expected to support our customers locally on public transport.

This role will require an Enhanced DBS check.
