Android Developer

A company in Aberdeen, with a global SaaS platform, is looking for a Mobile Developer to join their team. The company have seen usage on their mobile apps rise dramatically over the last year and because of this, are looking to bring in another Mobile Developer to the team.

The Company

The company work with a range of impressive global clients and their clientele is expanding all the time. Their software applications are used across many sectors including Food & Drink, Oil & Gas and more.

The Role & Tech

Due to the usage increase on their apps and the fact they intend add some new features to the apps, they feel like it's the right time to bulk out the team.

Interestingly, usage on their Android app has been 5x more than on their iOS app. With this in mind, they are looking someone that is a bit more focused on Android in their current role.

They'd absolutely love if someone could do both Android and iOS but it's not an absolute must. In terms of technologies, they work with Kotlin for Android and Swift for iOS.

They expect whoever comes into the role to already have strong experience with Kotlin as they'd like someone to come in and hit the ground running. If you're keen to upskill in Swift as well, then this may be the perfect role for you!

The Team

You'll be working under their Head of Apps and will obviously work really close with them but will still have a lot of autonomy as well. They have a larger tech team that you'll also work with, which includes Front End Devs, Back End Devs, Designers and more. Due to the smaller nature of the team currently, they're ideally looking for someone that wants to put their ideas forward and really get involved with technical discussions. The Finer Details

As mentioned, they are based in Aberdeen but can offer fully remote working within the UK. They can pay up to £50,000 and have a strong benefits package on top of this.
