About the role
An exciting opportunity to join the team responsible for delivering a consistent approach to consultation and engagement with the public and other stakeholders and ensuring the Council’s compliance with the Public Sector Equality Duty.
The successful applicant will ideally have excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to form constructive working relationships with varied departments, agencies and audiences. We are looking for someone who is experienced within the equalities field and has been successful in developing and delivering a wide range of engagement and consultation techniques.

- Hybrid Working: Subject to certain conditions being met, you may choose to work from home or in an office location. Due to the nature of the role, it will be necessary for you to travel within Ceredigion on a regular basis.
- Flexi-time: Hours may be worked within a defined bandwidth, Monday to Friday, subject to service needs.

We lead on corporate performance, corporate policy, strategic partnerships, engagement, community cohesion and civil contingencies, and also are responsible for strategic and operational responsibility for public protection: environmental health, food fraud, licencing and trading standards. Our key functions are as follows:
