Position Overview & Specifications
Official position: Design and Maintenance Coordinator for the UK
Salary:
£32,000 per annum during the probation period, £35,000 per annum thereafter.
Overtime will not be paid. Probation period: 6 months.
Incentive scheme after probation period.
Base:
Support Centre UK, hybrid working from home & from the office for a minimum of 2 days a week. Attend meetings and site visits when required across the UK.
Annual leave allowance:
As per standard CeX/statutory.
Job Description:
- Reports to Head of Design & Maintenance
- Full responsibility to ensure all aspects of the design and build process is adhered to, including surveys, drawings, technical specifications, standard CeX Group design implementation.
- Maintain relationships and continuous constructive communication with the territory lead and store leads, surveying project managers and contractors.
- Giving design options and consultation to ensure the store leads make relevant and informed decisions for their stores.
- Ensure correct store related budgets and timescales (new stores, refits and refreshes) are outlined correctly.
- To attend all relevant project meetings as required.
- Inspect & survey CeX stores, consulting and advising on maintenance works required.
- Coordinating programmed or reactive maintenance jobs.
- Respond to emergencies when requested, coordinating activities with the contractors and the stores.
Education Experience:
Bachelor's Degree
Work Experience:
- A good understanding of the construction industry & the built environment.
- A general understanding of commercial & retail building maintenance requirements will be beneficial.
- Good knowledge of the Excel & the Google Suite.
- AutoCAD, SketchUP & Illustrator experience will be an advantage.

- Able to ask for help & be willing to adapt to changes as the department grows.
