Position Overview & Specifications

Reporting to our Regional W&FJ Director, the Head of Retail Business will be the conduit through which the retail portion of CHANEL W&FJ Division is driven. This will include acting as the voice for our 3 standalone boutiques, as well as the High End Business within our Fashion Division, including implementing the house’s stack and mix strategy. Further, this role will be instrumental in ensuring operational and governance excellence within this remit as well as facilitating the training that enables our people to succeed. All this together, is to deliver the aspiration of creating the ultimate customer experience.
The W&FJ Division is on a strong growth trajectory, and this role will be key in ensuring the long term, sustainable success of the business.
WHAT IMPACT YOU CAN CREATE AT CHANEL
W&FJ Network
  • By being the strategic driver and leading actor of our 3 W&FJ Boutiques, you’ll support, coach, and guide our Boutique Directors in delivering the brand’s ambitions
  • By supporting the Boutique Directors with their High End Action plan, be a key driver in elevating the House’s High End Business
  • People Development is at the core of the House, and this role will be vital in providing all our people in retail with the tools to deliver in a dynamic environment through identifying key areas to elevate through training in the philosophy of Performance @ Chanel
  • The implantation of the House’s Stack & Mix strategy in collaboration with the Marketing Department will be a key business driver in delivering the ultimate client experience
  • Through acting as a leading connector across multiple functions, you’ll contribute to the long term commercial and people planning of the Division, with the aim of delivering durable, sustainable success
  • Consolidate the foundations of the business by cementing governance and operational best practices
Fashion Network
  • By creating deeper connection between the Fashion & W&FJ Division, nourish the cross-pollination of clients and advance our One House philosophy.
    • Develop the High End Business in each individual Fashion Boutique
    • Facilitate the collaboration between the Fashion and W&FJ Boutique Directors
    • This will include supporting a Manager who will be driving the W&FJ dedicated heads in Fashion
  • Collaborate with the Head of Fashion Retail, as well as Training, in the implantation of the House’s Stack & Mix strategy in collaboration with the Marketing Department. This will be a key business driver in delivering the ultimate client experience
  • Identify training opportunities to elevate our Fashion populations competency with W&FJ
Global
  • As a collaborator in the High End Society and occasional attendance of the Campus of Excellence, this role will contribute to the sharing of best practices within the brand
