Job description
We need an enthusiastic and reliable person with great people-skills and a good work ethic. Some experience would be preferred, but training will be given.
Working hours: 3 days a week 9am-5.30pm.
Your duties will include:
- Reception work: booking appointments, preparing record cards, filing
- Dealing with our patients in a calm and friendly manner
- Writing up orders for glasses
- Submitting NHS forms
- Dealing with spectacle repairs
- Helping people choose frames
- Maintaining stock, putting stock onto the computer system, stock takes
- Facilitating a general running of the practice including cleaning, tidying and sorting
- Aiding the Optometrist with whatever they need
Job Types: Part-time, Temporary
Contract length: 3-6 weeks
Part-time hours: 22.5 per week
Salary: £10.70 per hour
