Prospect Research Assistant

This role is based in the UK in our London office. Christian Aid is currently trialing a hybrid working model and you will be required to attend the office for a minimum of 2 days per week with the option to work remotely for the remaining 3 days per week.

About the role

The Prospect Research Assistant strengthens the Prospect Research team in delivering a steady stream of strategic prospective donors, actionable insights and intel which enable teams in Philanthropy and Partnerships (P&P) to grow income.

The post holder will work closely with income teams, supporting synergies across P&P. The role holder will also need to maintain links with other fundraising and communications teams to identify networks. The role will also support due diligence processes and GDPR guidance across PPT. Over time, the post holder will liaise with other relevant teams across the Fundraising and Supporter Engagement (FSE) department.

About you

With an interest in research and working at a development organisation, you will bring your excellent organisational and communication skills to this role. You will bring your ability to engage research skills, using a range of research tools, to support the prospect research function. You will be expected to take initiative in interpreting research and supporting the delivery of actionable insights and intel with a focus on Major Donors, Trusts and the Private Sector.
