Examination Invigilators

Examination Invigilators required for City College Norwich, Easton College and Paston College for immediate work

Hourly rate will be £11.77 including holiday pay

We are currently recruiting for Examinations Invigilators to work at City College Norwich, Easton College and Paston College (North Walsham).

You will take responsibility for an examination session (both paper based, and computer based) in the presence of candidates, including acting as reader, scribe, prompter or chaperone, meeting appropriate examination board rules and regulations. You will deal with emergencies and report all incidents and malpractice to the Examinations Officer whilst ensuring the needs of the candidates are met throughout the examination.

You will take ownership of examination security before, during and after the examination.

As a College we are required to undertake various Safer Recruitment checks as set out within the guidance from the Department for Education Keeping Child Safe in Education. We require all staff to undertake an enhanced Adult and Child Workforce DBS Check and to register with the DBS Update Service. Please note: From 28 November 2020 the government implemented changes to the filtering rules, and we have been instructed that we cannot accept any update service checks on DBS certificates that have been issued before this date. Therefore, a new one must be completed with City College Norwich.
