Role:

Clancy are delighted to bring to market a new opportunity for a Site Engineer to join our UKPN workstream and play a pivotal role in achieving our vision of delivering smarter, greener infrastructure brilliantly.

Duties include:

• Report to the project Contractors Engineering Manager and work with the Project Managers for the Packages of work,
• Manage the Engineering Assurance of various scales of projects with a Power / Rail interface to comply with company and functional procedures and standards.
• Maintain technical knowledge and status in line with post.
• Ensure discipline design or construction complies with current applicable standards, legislative requirements and specification.
• Participate in interdisciplinary design check meetings as necessary.
• Identify any proposals for improving environmental sustainably or safety performance in regard to construction methodology.
• Third party liaison with stakeholders.

Skills, Knowledge & Experience:

We would love to hear from you if you have highly developed communication skills, enjoy finding solutions to problems and embrace working collaboratively to deliver in complex environments.

You will also need to possess all the following criteria:

• Civil engineering qualification
• Previous Experience of working on Network Rail projects (3 years minimum)
• Able to review & interpret drawings for both TWs and PWs and resolve problems with the design and construction team
• Preferred to have Temporary Works Competencies (TWC, or TWS).
• Developed knowledge of health and safety practices and buildability
• SMSTS
• CSCS card
• PTS
• Good IT skills
