Position Overview & Specifications

HR Consultant *London & Esher* to £50k (Pro rata 15-month FTC) **April Start Date**

Client Server is a leading technology recruitment consultancy, based in London, Esher, Cardiff, and Sydney; a strong international reach we hope will be asserted in the coming years. We're looking for an experienced HR Consultant to join us for a part-time (3 days per week), 15-month contract whilst our HR Manager is away on maternity leave. Please note the start date for this position is April.

As a HR Consultant at Client Server, you will take ownership of several core HR areas including learning and development, performance management, employee relations, policies and procedures, and benefits (you will not be involved with payroll or recruitment in this position). Although this is a standalone role, you will be working closely with Senior Management and the Internal Recruitment Team on a daily basis.

Every day your work will be diverse and hugely impactful to the business; from working with Senior Managers on initiatives to improve staff retention and assisting with employee relations or performance related issues, to arranging and implementing internal and external training sessions and maintaining and administering our benefits package. You will play a key role in driving our company values into the working lives of employees, whilst maintaining a fantastic culture that is engaging, supportive, and inclusive.

This is a varied role where you will have a number of daily responsibilities alongside project-based tasks to help improve our current processes and procedures. Some of your other key duties will include, working with the internal recruitment team to onboard new starters, managing parental leave, handling sensitive information including salaries and disciplinary information, creating and reviewing staff surveys, implementing policies and procedures, and overall being a point of contact for staff to approach regarding any employment / HR related matters.

Whilst you get up to speed you will be required in the office Mondays, Tuesdays, and Wednesdays. Once you are trained you can choose which 3 days you work.

What we can offer you:
Up to £50k pro rata
Monthly company-wide meetings and drinks, summer and Christmas parties, charity, and sports events
Team lunches every quarter
Opportunity to contribute to our internal groups including the Mental Health Committee and Women's Networking Group
Wellness Days - recently we've enjoyed onsite massages and a yoga session!
Casual dress code

What we need from you:
You are a highly personable, professional, and engaging HR Advisor / Generalist who has experience working across several core HR areas
You are CIPD qualified (or equivalent) ideally level 5 or above
You have an up-to-date knowledge of UK employment legislation
You have experience working with the full lifecycle of employee processes
You are confident approaching anyone and can work closely with all levels of the business including our Sales team, Senior Management team, and company Directors
You can confidently make decisions, prioritise a busy workload, and work on multiple projects simultaneously
You are competent in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
You ideally have experience working within a sales or recruitment company

You'll split your time between our buzzing City office (2 days a week) and our leafy Esher, Surrey office (1 day a week) - both have a wonderful, friendly, and supportive team environment.

Apply today or call to talk to our Internal Recruitment team about this HR Consultant 15-month FTC role.
