Position Overview & Specifications
The Collard Group are pleased to offer this exciting new role created to support the business in delivering its long term ambitious growth plans and increasing investment in plant and machinery.
Key Responsibilities:
Administration
- Add new Plant and Vehicles to Syrinx system
- Maintain hire contracts for internally and externally hired Plant items
- Update billing for movement and damage charges
- Generate Purchase Orders for Plant department
- GRN goods received in the system
- Update department staff hours in Computime system for weekly payroll
- Provide Admin Support to the Parts Manager, Plant Manager and Plant Director
- Provide cover for the above tasks within the Fleet Division
- Responsibilities
- Ensuring all transactions are approved in line with company policy
- Accurate allocation of costs / revenue to Company / Division / Expense type
- Working to meet deadlines in accordance with month-end closure
- Perform regular housekeeping checks and ensure records are accurate
- Contribute to the efficiency and effectiveness of the Plant Department by identifying and implementing improved administration processes and procedures
The Successful candidate will have:
- Experience in similar administration role - small and medium (and ideally large) organisations (minimum 3 years)
- Wider experience within a Plant / equipment hire environment desirable but not essential
- Strong systems skills - Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook - Intermediate Excel Skills (pivots, vlookups)
