Collins Fresh Produce is a diverse food distribution business supplying hotels, pubs, education, care sector and restaurants across the midlands and East Anglia with fresh produce, dairy, bakery, groceries and much more.

We are looking to add a full time Van Driver to our team based in Northampton.

Responsibilities.

Driving a 3.5 tonne refrigerated van and delivering to our customers preferred delivery point ten to twenty drops per day.

Checking delivery with customer and reporting any shortages.

Checking and completing orders before departure. Occasionally purchasing from retail.

Helping in the warehouse from time to time.

Completing daily vehicle checks and fuelling the van, informing management of defects.

We will provide training including a week on a route with an experienced driver.

Skills required

We are looking for a smart reliable individual with good attention to detail and very organised.

Good communication at all levels both verbally and written.

Good numeracy.

Able to lead by example and go the extra mile.

Positive can-do attitude.

Team player.

Must have held a driving licence for at least three years.

Renumeration

£11p/h

Full time.

· Approximately 40-45 Hours per week: Week 1 – Monday to Friday 5am to finish

· Week 2 – Monday to Saturday 5am to finish (early finish on Saturday)

Salary: £11.00 per hour
