Remit

Compass Associates are currently assisting in the search for a Senior Physiotherapist to work in the Physiotherapy department of an upmarket fitness and wellness centre in Wokingham. This fitness centre is part of large private healthcare provider with hospital and gym sites across the UK. You will be treating and supporting private insurance and self-pay patients who utilise the gym and looking to return to fitness following injury.

You will see a wide range of musculoskeletal conditions from sports to workplace-related injuries and will play a key role in helping our patients achieve, maintain and recover to the level of health and wellbeing that they aspire to. You will have the opportunity to make use of the gym, often performing rehabilitation exercises with clients as well as maintaining a good relationship with the Fitness Team who often support.

The Candidate

The ideal candidate will need to be a fully qualified and experienced MSK Physiotherapist with a current registration to the HCPC and CSP. You will see a wide range of musculoskeletal conditions including sporting injury, back and neck pain or post-surgery, and autonomously manage the full patient treatment cycle.

You will be responsible for delivering excellent clinical care that is evidence-based, Safe, Effective, Caring, Well-led and responsive to your patient's needs. The position will require you to always be compliant with all professional, clinical and integrated governance standards and participate in clinical audit and other quality assurance processes

Requirements

• BSc in Physiotherapy or equivalent
• 3+ Experience of treating MSK patients
• CPS membership
• Registered with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC)
• Demonstrate evidence of further professional training and continual professional development, reflecting your desire to develop as a practitioner.
• Be able to demonstrate excellent manual therapy skills.
• Excellent communication skills
• Professional attitude
• Be a competent and confident IT user with strong organisation skills
• Have the ability to prioritise and deal with your varied workload in an effective and timely manner.
