To be eligible you must be:
  • Over 18 and have the legal right to work in the UK
  • Going into your final year of higher education in Autumn 2023
  • Able to come to our London office on a daily basis
  • Available from 5th June to August 11th 2023

The Team
  • The Technology Business Management team is responsible for supporting our Global Product, Technology and Data team’s operations across people, process, and budget.
  • The main functions of this team include:
    • Technical Program & Project Management and Reporting
    • Resource management
    • Budget management for GPTD in partnership with Finance Business Partners
    • Strategic and business case planning & development
    • Operating procedures and best practices
    • Talent and career development in partnership with HR Business Partners
    • Internal and external marketing, communications and people engagement
What will you be doing?
  • Learning across all the pillars of the operations team, and learn about the functions within a product and technology organisation.
  • Contributing to marketing & communications work, including writing copy
  • Understanding the fundamentals of project management
  • Coordinating project tasks and functions for the GPT Engagement programme, including preparation of action plans and workstreams guided by the Director of Technology Business Management and GPT Engagement Leads
  • Supporting the team with special projects related to operations and marketing & communications, including facilitating the necessary coordination and correspondence required of these including preparing agendas; taking minutes, collating appropriate paperwork
Who you are:
  • You will be studying for a Media, Marketing or Business Management degree
  • Experience or an interest in working in an IT /Digital environment
  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
  • Ability to show own initiative
  • Troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
  • Knowledge of G-Suite
  • Highly organised and flexible to work with some of our global colleagues
