Finance Manager

This position provides a variety of financial duties for the patients in an efficient manner. Prepares and presents treatment plans at consult, acts as liaison between insurance companies, office and patients, and manages collections and insurance reimbursements.
Primary Duties
- Create treatment plans to be presented to patients
- Prepares predetermination of benefits as requested
- Returns calls from patients/Referring Offices regarding account and insurance questions
- Submit insurance claims on a daily basis.
- Review and mail patient monthly statements
- Reviews Accounts Receivable Aging
- Follows up on denied or incomplete insurance EOBs
- Follows through on all overdue accounts using proper collection procedures
- Prepares Refund Request Report
- Month end reports
- Coordinate orthognathic patient treatment to include presenting treatment plan, surgical scheduling and coordination with hospital and patient
- Reauthorizations and collection of deposits and fees.
Secondary Duties
- Back up for incoming calls
- Help front office staff when necessary
- Other duties as assigned
Skills and Experience
- Proficient in Microsoft office applications including Word, Excel, and Outlook
- Proficient in WIN/OMS
- Excellent customer service skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Professional voice inflection and direct eye contact
- Belief in practice treatment and fees
- Proficient in basic math and accounting skills
- Ability to sit behind a desk approximately 80% of the workday.
Requirements
- Management of the Accounts Receivable Cycle
- 3+ years of experience
- High school diploma
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $30.00 - $34.00 per hour
