Position Overview & Specifications
Possible Responsibilities:
- Support engagement team when interfacing with clients, including attending interviews, process walkthroughs/documentation, and presentations
- Executing assigned tasks and project responsibilities including documentation, testing controls, developing presentations, doing data analytics
- Add value to public and private clients by assisting in any of the following:
- Detailed revenue analysis and revenue recognition
- Equity – stock compensation (FAS 123R), warrant accounting and EPS
- Draft or review financial statements with disclosures
- SEC Reporting, including 10K, 10Q and other filings
- Support of quarterly or month-end closes
- Apply knowledge and understanding of governing principles, apply these principles to client transactions and communicate an understanding and application of these principles
- Identify, analyze, and discuss generally accepted accounting principles for the client, when necessary, with the Senior, Manager, Senior Manager, and engagement partner
- Add value to clients to successfully prepare and complete audits
- Strengthen client relationships and contribute to the generation of additional engagement opportunities through excellent quality, timely execution, and strategic approach to service delivery
- Prepare manual and adjusting journal entries
- Assist in preparation of financial statements and disclosures
- Assist in preparing:
- Financial statement tie-outs
- Workpaper support & documentation
- Schedules
- Inventory counts

- Familiarity with key business and finance processes
- Strong interpersonal and presentation skills
- Strong writing and communication skills
- Excited to learn new things, take on additional responsibilities and be accountable for your own work
- Hard working, self-motivated with ability to work independently while thinking outside the box and multitasking
- Attention to detail with ability to produce quality deliverables
- Ability to work well in a team atmosphere
- Professional and personable demeanor in person and while working remote
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, flow charts, data analytics and strong excel skills
- Ability to take feedback and effectively improve from it
- Proactive approach to engagement tasks
- Recognition of areas and opportunities to add value in an engagement
