Wanted: Senior Data Scientist

Responsibilities:

• Work with the Head of AI and Data to ideate and scope AI and Data solutions that can address company needs in the timeframe required
• Build solutions that meet the agreed upon outputs
• Manage the delivery of the solution, where required, with colleagues and more junior members of the team
• Line manage, mentor, and develop up to 3 mid-level data scientists (as the company grows)
• Communicate the current capabilities of our AI and Data solutions to the rest of the business in a way that can be understood by a wide audience
• Update the wider technical team of Coral frequently about the state of projects, the path to completion, and any requirements that may prevent progress.
• Work collaboratively with the Data Engineering team to put solutions into development, and on coding optimisations that are suggested and agreed upon.
• Be an advocate for the AI and Data capabilities within Coral, as well as pushing for continued development, whilst balancing the needs of the AI and Data team.

• AWS - ETL Processes (Glue, Lambda etc.), ECS, S3, Database Solutions (Redshift, RDS)
• Git

• Line Management Experience (or a desire to do so)

• Unstructured Data Collection and Processing
