Event Crew

Core Crew is a Glasgow based event crewing company founded in 2018. We are looking for bright, hard working and physically fit people to join our Glasgow crew. Applicants may be self employed or PAYE.

Our goal is to provide our clients with an event crew that is both professional and enthusiastic.

Your role, as a member of our crew, will be to assist our clients with a variety of event work both indoors and outdoors. A successful candidate will be polite and well presented as they will be working in some of Glasgow most loved public spaces.

A shift may include but won’t be limited to:

• Loading and unloading trucks

• Building staging & sets

• Setting up lighting & sound systems

• Building Fencing & Barriers

• Moving furniture

• Setting up LED video walls

• General manual handling

Given the nature of the industry the work will be offered on an ad hoc basis and you may be asked to work unsociable hours.

You don’t need to have any particular skills or experience as on the job training is provided. but the following will increase your earning potential:

• Driving licence

• Forklift licenses – Counterbalance, Rough Terrain or Telescopic Handler

• IPAF license

• Sound Tech

• Light Tech

• Carpentry skills

Applicants must be aged 18+ and have the right to work in the UK

Starting Rates of £10.50 - £13 per hour. Rates relative to experience.

Job Types: Part-time, Freelance, Zero hours contract

Salary: £10.50-£17.50 per hour
