Position Overview & Specifications
The role:
The Senior Consulting Analyst will support the consultancy team with a range of research, analysis, and report writing/presenting. You will manage and support new and existing consultancy projects, ensuring good quality research and delivery to the customers’ requirements and on time.
This is an exciting role working with a diverse range of clients and on topics and issues at the forefront of market change, working together with clients to understand their needs. You will also collaborate closely with your colleagues in other teams.
The location:
This role can be based in Norwich, London, or working from home as part of our commitment to agile and flexible working.
Key Responsibilities
- Developing methods of research and analysis to answer the needs of customer project work.
- Attend client meetings with support from senior staff.
- Preparing customer proposals and pitch materials, including Invitations to Tender and direct client approaches.
- Supporting a range of customer projects, from research to report writing and presentations.
- Attending industry events and potentially participating in industry workgroups as required.
- Adhering to the processes for reporting and quality assurance for consultancy projects.
Skills Knowledge and Expertise
- Good knowledge of energy markets supplemented by enthusiasm to learn more.
- Demonstrate curiosity in all areas of work and willingness to learn more.
- Well-developed research and analytical skills, including a creative approach to problem-solving.
- Good writing capability.
- Good research, organisational, and time-keeping skills.
- Good communication within your team and to wider teams.
