Position Overview & Specifications
Our Specialist Perinatal Mental Health team provides holistic and multidisciplinary approach to care. Our team consists of multiple disciplines who work collaboratively to support recovery and improving bonds with baby in the crucial first 1001 days.
We deliver a high quality service that is safe, person-centred and focused on family and recovery. Regular 121, group support and supervision are provided, along with CPD and regular training opportunities to enable your support and growth in the role.
We are looking for a dynamic and solution-focused team player who is passionate about high quality care. You will be outcome driven and able to work collaboratively with our organisational partners in NHS Talking Therapies, Infant mental health, Special Parenting Service, Maternity Services, Health Visiting, the MBU in Devon, and other agencies to deliver a unified and safe service to expectant and new mothers, their babies and partners.
As a Specialist Perinatal Clinical Lead you will work as part of our established team, playing a pivotal role in the delivery of specialist interventions. This an exciting time to join the team as we continue to grow and develop to deliver a high-quality mental health response to women in the perinatal period. Using your skills and experience you will support your colleagues in the delivery of high quality care.
You will offer supervision to the perinatal team
You will deliver training both to the team and partner agencies.
You will demonstrate leadership and engage in service development.

We’re an NHS community and mental health provider Trust based in Cornwall and the Isles of Scilly. We deliver community and hospital-based care to improve people’s physical and mental health. We also provide specialist support to people with dementia or a learning disability.
