Assistant Cook

We are looking for a cook to join our team in Lakenfields in Norwich

Duties will include

• Preparing lunch for a care home and Nursery school from scratch using fresh ingredients
• Keeping the kitchen and equipment clean and tidy
• Ensure Food Hygiene/Environmental Health paperwork and Health & Safety regulations are adhered to at all times.
• To maintain confidentiality and observe Data protection and associated guidelines where appropriate
• Have the ability to organise, record,and serve meals
• Have a friendly and approachable manner with a positive work ethic
• Understand the needs of the tenants and the nursery school
• High level of communication
• Prompt time keeping
• Monthly stock taking, distribution of invoices and paperwork
• Accurately record daily meals that tenants receive
• Deal with tenants that wish to pay cash daily
• Actively take part in tenant meetings
• Able to work on own initiative
• Be presentable and clean at all time
• Clear down servery area and wash up after service and ensure restaurant is left in a presentable manner
• You will be required to work alternate Saturday and Sundays

Experience is essential

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Part-time hours: 21 per week

Salary: £10.42-£10.92 per hour
