Food Production Packer

Country Products is a long-established family firm, based at Tockwith in the heart for rural North Yorkshire. We specialise in the sourcing, packing and supply of an extensive range of ambient dried products to both high street retailers and the independent trade. Following a period of high growth, we looking for like minded individuals to join our friendly and highly motivated team. Experience is not necessary as full training will be given, with opportunities for individuals to develop new skills through internal and external training. we have a policy of promoting from within and the right candidates will have the chance to grow with the companies ambitious plans.

DUTIES

The duties and responsibilities of the Production Operative may include, but are not limited to:

• Packing sachets of Nuts in retail packs on a production line and stacking pallets
• Quality checking
• General housing keeping duties
• Operating pallet trucks and lifting aids if and when required
• Following health & safety guidelines
• Any other duties requested within the needs of the business
• Able to work with own initiative
• Work towards targets
• Full training Provided

Due to our rural location, a driving licence and car are necessary.

Salary: From £10.00 per hour
