The Strategic Planning and Analytics Office (SPAO) is a key professional service delivering insight to a wide range of stakeholders to support evidence-based decision making across the business. Due to expansion we are seeking an Insight and Data Officer to join our team.
About the role:
You will be responsible for producing reports and insight from a range of data sources with a focus on the student recruitment and admissions pipeline from enquiry to enrolment. Our ideal candidate will bring experience of turning data into insights, creating compelling reports and analysis. You will have the skills to extract and transform data using a range of business intelligence tools and take colleagues across the Coventry University Group on a journey with insight. This is a very rewarding role, and you will see your work and insight supporting and driving key decisions within the business.
About you:
- Have an analytical mindset and an attention to detail
- Enjoy problem solving and working with complex datasets
- Champion data driven decision making
- Be adept with using business intelligence tools to deliver insight from a range of layered data sources using Tableau, and in system recruitment and admissions reporting from Salesforce CRM
- Have excellent interpersonal and communication skills and work collaboratively with internal and external contacts
- Have a sound understanding of data governance principles
- Be able to manage your own workload and meet tight deadlines
