Graduate Teaching Assistant - Tower Hamlets – Aspiring Teachers

If you are, we have an OFSTED rated good school in the London borough of Tower Hamlets looking to speak with energetic, enthusiastic, and experienced teaching assistants for opportunities working in mainstream schools.
The school are particularly interested in graduate teaching assistants with a passion in education or anyone who has graduated in any degree relevant in primary education. Any aspiring Teachers or Behaviour Mentors are also encouraged to apply.
The placement will be for the whole academic year, starting from September. It’s a fantastic opportunity to not only support students who need it the most, but to further your career working in the primary mainstream field.
Job Details – Graduate Teaching Assistant - Tower Hamlets – Aspiring Teachers
- Assist with the coordination of pupils during extracurricular activities such as lunch breaks and revision sessions.
- Guide and monitor pupil progress to identify areas that require improvement.
- Support the emotional, physical, and social development of pupils.
- Prepare classrooms prior to lessons; they also clean up afterwards.
- Help teachers in preparing materials that meet the development requirement of children.
- Organise and supervise pupils during project and sporting activities.

· Ability to communicate clearly with Teachers and younger individuals.
· Ability to create an encouraging learning environment for pupils.
· Active listening skills
· Understanding and sensitivity towards children
· Excellent knowledge of lessons that pupils are required to learn in class
