Position Overview & Specifications

We’re working with a leading global business, who are looking to add a Website and Digital Manager to their team.

Role

Reporting to the Senior Digital Manager, this is a technical role focused on delivering digital campaigns and ensuring the website is continuously optimised delivering outstanding user experience. The role will also take the lead on improving the technical capabilities of the website, implementing new developments and building out its core functionality. You’ll manage relationships with external digital partners and also lead on the integration of MarTech platforms with the website, working closely with the CRM and MarTech team. You’ll manage 3 Digital Exec’s and are the main point of contact for troubleshooting common BAU websites and MarTech queries raised from internal stakeholders across the globe.

Key responsibilities and deliverables

  • Working with the Senior Digital Manager to help steer the development roadmap for the company website and related MarTech platforms (outside of CRM and email marketing platforms)
  • Advising on UX, reviewing regularly to identify issues and improve user experience across the website
  • Responsible for managing the relationship with the third-party website and MarTech partners and development vendors, managing their workload in line with the strategic requirements of the firm
  • Responsible for the day-to-day management of the digital executives and the continued service of the team
  • Respond to and troubleshoot all website issues working alongside the team of executives
  • Ensure the website and related MarTech platforms are protected by enabling and managing the appropriate security and compliance measures and identify and deliver technical upgrades to our digital technology platforms
  • Project manage the integration of MarTech platforms with other existing tech stack of products mainly CMS system with non-marketing systems where required and work with internal stakeholders to perform technical reviews of Martech products
  • Operate marketing technology products as an administrator, updating HTML, CSS and JavaScript regularly
  • Monitor performance & other SLAs across the website and Martech platforms

You

You should have a strong experience managing and delivering digital marketing projects on a large scale, as well as solid technical understanding. A solid depth of understanding of digital design and technology, digital marketing channels (social, search/SEO, paid and CRM) and the integration of these tools and functions. Knowledge of UX and CRO would be useful, and you should be experienced with managing junior colleagues. We’re looking for someone with an analytical mind, able to interpret and translate data into actional insight.
