The Opportunity:
We are looking for a Sales Ledger to join our Global Sales team.

For this role you must be eligible to work in the UK in a full-time and permanent capacity. This exceptional opportunity allows you to work remotely while maintaining close collaboration with our UK Head Office in Sevenoaks, Kent.


As our Sales Ledger, you will...


  • Create and process all sales invoices ensuring accuracy and resolving anticipated problems in advance, such that all invoices issued are 100% accurate, to include where appropriate currency transactions.
  • Resolve queries with Clients in relation to all sales invoices in a timely manner.
  • Ensure all Sales Invoices are posted in a timely fashion on NetSuite.
  • Agree, create and process credit notes where required.
  • Ensure that all invoicing complies with appropriate VAT and other tax regulations.
  • Undertake daily/weekly bank reconciliations as appropriate, ensuring all incoming monies are accurately posted to client accounts.
  • Reconcile the sales ledger with the general ledger.
  • Reconcile customer Accounts.
  • Liaise with colleagues in Sales and Account Managers to ensure accuracy of all recording and pricing.
  • Work with the credit controller to ensure that all incoming monies are appropriately and speedily reconciled.
  • Work with the Finance team to support the end of month and end of year accounting processes.
  • Be able to cover for the Credit Controller in their absence.
  • Produce reports and summaries of sales ledger activity on a regular basis for internal stakeholders.
  • Be responsible for managing the sales ledger inbox and all associated correspondence.
  • Set up all new Client accounts in a timely fashion ready for invoicing, liaising with Client accounting teams as appropriate.

We are hoping you will bring...


  • 2-3 years experience of working within an accounts team with responsibility for the Sales Ledger
  • Experience of using some form of accounting software like NetSuite, Sage etc.
  • Highly competent in the use of spreadsheets and word processing tools e.g. Google-Suite
  • Highly numerate
  • Ability to remain calm in stressful situations
  • Strong client relationship management skills
  • Excellent personal organisational skills and resilience to manage multiple workflows and priorities
  • Ability to communicate with all levels of stakeholders across the business
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills combined with the ability to make quick decisions to support timely interventions where required
  • Excellent business English, both written and oral
  • Good basic education with minimum of GSCE maths or equivalent
