Milking Parlour/Bulk Tank Install & Service Engineer

Your role is to lead on our Milking Parlour & Bulk Tank installation on farms. You will also be engaged in preventative and reactive maintenance, respond to breakdowns, diagnose faults and carry out repairs as required.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Installation of new milking parlours/tanks and associated dairy equipment
• Service and maintain/repair existing equipment in a timely manner
• Maintain equipment and manage stock in van, including stock takes.
• Responsible for running and maintenance of vehicle, including associated start up checks.
• Adhere to the company’s health, safety, environmental and personal standards policies.
• Ensure accurate and full record keeping of all work is carried out.
• Care for tools and equipment provided , ensuring that on completion of a task that equipment and/or work area is left in a clean and safe condition.
• Work as part of an inter-dependent team with flexibility to take on all other reasonable tasks, including availability for emergency breakdown cover, and rota for weekend and evening repair work as required.
• Carry out any other duties as directed by the Tankcare Manager.

For the ideal candidate, an electrical/mechanical qualification is desirable and Fgas or refrigeration qualification would be a bonus.
