Job Description

Dani Organics USA – Supply Chain Coordinator

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a role of Supply Chain Coordinator within an Organic Food Ingredients company for its warehouse operations in NJ selling Herbs, Spices, Nuts, and other ingredients to customers across the US.

Ideally based in Kent or South East England, you will be self-motivated, honest, open, and excited to deliver the best possible results. You need to be adept at juggling multiple tasks, clients and projects and engaging with any task on all levels, remaining warm, welcoming and professional.

This is a comprehensive role, and the responsibilities will evolve with growth.

Responsibilities:

- Coordinate sourcing of raw materials from group companies globally to specification and budget based on forecast of current and future demand from customers.

- Carry out market research to identify and understand supply, demand, and pricing structures in the organic ingredient’s market within the US.

- Ensure smooth execution of customer PO’s whilst liaising with Sales Team

- Managing a portfolio of existing and potential new suppliers for sourcing

- Ensuring continued or improved satisfactory performance levels are achieved. -Assist with contracts, create purchase order and obtain quotes from suppliers, placing orders.

- Raise complaints with group companies for incoming goods where necessary

- Management of MRP (material requirement planning) and P2P (purchase to pay) process, ensuring that the orders are delivered on time and in full, including expediting orders when required.

- Liaise daily with warehouse, external processors, and freight companies on shipments

- Provide weekly and monthly inventory reports

- Ensure stock levels are compatible with achieving at least four stock turns by the end of the financial year.

- Work with customs broker and clearing agent to ensure smooth import of containers

- Have excellent literacy and numeracy skills.

- Be effective in communication enabling the post-holder to discuss relevant issues with various stakeholders.

- Offer lead times on live orders and shipments

Candidate Requirements:

- Good operating knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel & Outlook is imperative

- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.

- Ability to think clearly and analytically, to work towards tight deadlines and remain calm under pressure.

- Commitment to excellence and professionalism.

- Demonstrating flexibility and team skills within the team to ensure consistent service to the client and their customers.

- Answering emails in a professional and friendly manner and dealing with enquiries promptly.

- Open to travel to sourcing locations as well as the US for Trade Shows and Conferences

Key Skills and Competencies:

- Tech-savvy, fast learner, and can think on their feet

- Previous sourcing experience

- Valid driver’s license. Good driving record.

- Work US ET Time Zone UK 2 PM – 10 PM

- Very Proficient in Microsoft Office – Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook.

- Excellent oral, analytical, written, and communication skills

- Must excel in multi-tasking within a fast-paced organization.

- Effective time management skills.

- Initiative and an aptitude and enthusiasm for learning.

- Dynamic public speaking and presentation skills

- Excellent Negotiating Skills

- Demonstrate engagement in making the world a better place through sustainable business practices and the promotion of a healthy lifestyle

- Experience in the Herbs & Spice Industry would be an advantage
