Mechanical Design Engineer

Our client is a leading Engineering Consultancy who are supporting a client in with their Manual Handling equipment.

Our client requires an experienced mechanical design engineer to support post-CDR updates (using CREO) to electro-mechanical device, focusing on mechanical interfaces and cable routing.

This role may require occasional visits to client sites in the South East, which will be expensed.

• Reviewing designs post CDR and making suggestions and changes
• Creating and managing change review documents
• Using CREO for designing electro-mechanical devices
• Working on manual handling/cable routers/mechanical machine interface designs

• 5+ years’ experience within a mechanical design role
• Familiarity with design for manual handling
• Experience in electro-mechanical design within Defence industry
• CREO experience
• Experience supporting design reviews and associated processes
• Management of design change documentation
