Vehicle Valeter/Depot Handyman

We are looking for a Vehicle Valeter/Depot Handyperson to join our sweepers business based in Avonmouth.

You will be responsible for the general upkeep and maintenance of our Avonmouth depot while cleaning and preparing Dawsongroup sweepers vehicles for rental, lease or sale.

Key features of this role are:

• Valeting internal cab areas, touching up of cosmetic defects and minor repairs and adjustments to all fleet vehicles
• Basic preparation and cleaning of industrial sweepers
• Ensuring all internal and external yard areas are clean, maintaining the general upkeep of garden areas and carrying out minor repairs to the depot
• Delivery and collection of parts and equipment

To be successful for this position you will:

• Be able to use hand and power tools with the ability to carry out basic repairs to the depot facility
• Basic gardening and housekeeping experience would be advantageous
• Have basic automotive knowledge
• Have a flexible and adaptable approach to your role and be able to work well on your own initiative with minimum supervision
