Position Overview & Specifications

Delaware North UK is hiring a full-time Senior Hospitality Manager at Emirates Stadium in London. As Senior Hospitality Manager, you will ensure that the catering within hospitality areas of the location is managed in the most effective way to provide cost effective and quality service to the clients and guests.

Responsibilities

  • Plan all hospitality services using business efficiency tools, organisational skills, and resources to the required standard with a guest focus.
  • Identify and lead delivery plans and processes which drive profitability and allow for growth in new markets and industries, providing sustained competitive advantage.
  • Oversee processes to ensure stock is managed and delivered to meet the requirements of the business. Take appropriate actions to avoid wastage.
  • Collaborate with the Meeting & Events sales team to support the identification of new business opportunities, product offer designs, and competitor benchmarking and research.
  • Conduct regular ‘operational reviews’ with the team to improve all aspects of the delivery model. Manage a team of hospitality managers and supervisors at the venue. Undertake all performance management and feedback communication.
  • Partner with the Talent Acquisition team in all hiring processes to ensure the best talent is attracted and recruited. Underpin the onboarding, training, and development all members of the hospitality team to drive a culture of high performance where guest service is the top priority.
  • Plan the casual workforce scheduling for each hospitality event to ensure that the core requirements and additional benefits of the time and attendance system are capitalised on to deliver labour spends that are in line with forecasts and plan figures.
  • Identify appropriate levers to drive sales and profitability across the business to meet plans. Ensure all hospitality departments deliver on budgetary requirements, and monitor the completion of a monthly financial forecast with expected results and full explanations for any variances with an action plan to resolve.
  • Understand the P&L requirements of all assigned events to provide the relevant statistical analysis for each location to inform ongoing performance decision-making.
  • Ensure that the operation is in accordance with current practice, management, and measurement of all areas of responsibility including health & safety, food hygiene, fire regulations, licensing laws, and trading standards.

Qualifications

  • Degree in related field or 5+ years’ experience with 1+ year of management experience required.
  • 3 years’ experience in a similar role is desirable.
  • Proven operational experience and track record in similar environment.
  • IT literate, including Microsoft Office, Humanforce, Eatec.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Professional attitude and gravitas with internal and external clients, guests, and staff.
  • Previous experience in 5-6* dining environment.
  • Management and/or food & beverage qualifications are desirable.
  • Extensive knowledge of the F&B industry within hospitality environments.
