Front of House Attendant

Prince Edward Theatre

£11.17 per hour plus staff benefits

30 hours per week, show-based contract

Founded over 30 years ago, Sir Cameron Mackintosh's Delfont Mackintosh Theatres Ltd owns and operates eight of the most prestigious theatres in London's West End: the Gielgud, No l Coward, Novello, Sondheim, Prince Edward, Prince of Wales, Victoria Palace and Wyndham's.

Job overview/ summary of main tasks

Reporting to theatre management, this role ensures exceptional customer service is delivered before, during and after the performance. This includes welcoming patrons, checking tickets in a fast paced environment and selling programmes, merchandise, ice cream and an assortment of drinks and snacks to customers. The Front of House team also ensures the safe evacuation of patrons when directed by the Duty Manager.

Key skills and experience required

Successful applicants will have previous experience in a customer-facing role, excellent communication skills and an interest in theatre.
