Position Overview & Specifications

We are on the lookout for a talented and proactive Logistics Coordinator to provide the link between Deliciously Ella and our operational partners. Sitting right in the heart of the Supply team and reporting into the Logistics Manager, you will be responsible for coordinating our warehouses and couriers to ensure our stock is in the right place, at the right time.

What you'll be doing:

  • Building excellent relationships with 3PLs and support KPI reporting for 3PLs and manufacturers.
  • Working cross functionally to support the development and launch of new product ranges.
  • Ensuring timely and cost-efficient movement of bulk stock between UK and EU warehouses to supply retail customer orders.
  • Responsible for preparing international shipment documentation, including commercial invoices and customs declarations.
  • Replenishing our webshops by tracking, managing and maintaining the stock position vs target to ensure we’re always able to fulfil our D2C orders. This will include checking stock levels; arranging transport and ensuring goods are unpacked and put away ready for pick.
  • Investigating incidents and maintain Delivery Incidence tracker, working closely with suppliers and 3PLs to identify and resolve issues.
  • Supporting EPD & NPD launches, including owning the internal SKU setup and product data management process for new SKUs, both internally and externally.
  • Becoming an expert on our stock management and finance system, NetSuite – including helping develop its functionality and application
  • Working with our external partners to ensure great supplier performance through delivery of regular KPI sessions focusing on quality, service and cost.
  • Supporting KPI reporting with our external partners, including attending warehouse & factory visits as needed to drive understanding and great supplier performance and improvement of key metrics – quality, service and cost.
  • Building in-depth knowledge of our supply network in order to identify operational improvements and cost savings.
  • Delivering process improvements and fostering our cultural of ‘continuous improvement’.

A really great candidate for this role will:

  • Be a whiz at Excel, and have a love for numbers
  • Have 1 – 2 yrs experience in a related Logistics role
  • Be experienced with commercial invoices and international shipments
  • Have some FMCG experience
  • Take initiative and be able to work autonomously
  • Have strong analytical, problem solving and communication skills
  • Have a keen eye for detail
  • Be able to build relationships quickly and work cross functionally, as well as keep several plates spinning at once
  • Have some experience working with Netsuite or a similar ERP system
