An exciting opportunity has arisen to come and work within the ASC Commissioning and Market Management team as the Senior Quality and Monitoring Officer. This post is critical to the team ensuring that we have quality processes in place to monitor the care market and work closely with internal and external partners. We are looking for a dynamic, creative person to move forward the Quality processes for Derby City Council Adult Social care, creating new ways of working post COVID-19.
The key priorities for the role will be:
- Responsible for managing the day to day work programme of x 4 Quality Monitoring Officers. Under the guidance of the Head of Service.
- Responsible for ensuring the proactive monitoring, review and reporting of the quality of commissioned services by liaising with Customer, Operational colleagues and providers to ensure the quality of services commissioned; co-ordinating the collation of information from a variety of sources, including but not restricted to information from customers, safeguarding alerts, concerns raised by care management staff, Complaints and compliments.
- Ensure strong working relationships are formed and maintained with Head of Service, Lead commissioners, Brokerage Officers, and Senior Commissioning Officers.
- Work with internal and external partners, stakeholders and suppliers on undertaking QA activity and ensuring that services purchased meet identified needs.
