Position Overview & Specifications

Are you an experienced Senior HR Manager? Do you inspire, lead by example and rise to the challenge?

An exciting, brand new opportunity has arisen within our People Services department for the role of Head of HR Partnering. This role has been created with the aim of continuing to grow a culture where our people are committed and passionate about delivering a high quality policing service for the residents of Derbyshire.

You'll be an integral part of the People Services Senior Management Team and you'll be overseeing a team of specialists who'll deliver our HR strategies.

We're looking for someone who:

  • Is inspiring, visible and engaging. You'll need to get others on board and drive strategies and processes forward.
  • Has a great attention to detail and always puts the customer first.
  • Has a creative mindset and an innovative way of working.
  • Develops strategies to ensure our workforce feels valued and looked after.
  • Always goes the extra mile to achieve continuous improvement.

Our successful applicant will be MCIPD qualified and possess extensive experience in HR senior management roles, as well as being a proven strategic leader.
