Position Overview & Specifications
Enthusiastic and team focussed admin assistant required for the Environmental Education Project. You must have excellent customer service skills and a thorough knowledge of clerical and administrative systems and software. You will be the first point of contact for customers, colleagues and partners. You will assist colleagues to run the service effectively and be involved in all aspects of administration, including finance, data collection, bookings and facilitating meetings.
We are looking for someone with a combination of methodical data processing skills, a love of detail, a good memory and creative flair to improve our processes as we embrace online bookings.
This is an opportunity to join South Derbyshire’s award winning ‘Environmental Education Project’ team which is based at Rosliston Forestry Centre and provides activities across the District and The National Forest. Own transport and a driving licence are desirable.
20hrs/ week with a permanent contract.
Work hours will be arranged by mutual agreement. Ideally this will include some hours on a Monday and Friday. Work opportunities will usually be during the week and may include being offered very occasional weekend/ evening work.
Work will usually be on site at Rosliston Forestry Centre with some hours worked from home.
Appointment will be dependent on a satisfactory enhanced disclosure from the Disclosure and Barring Service.
There are other administrative roles available within Cultural & Community Services - with various part-time and full-time roles available.
