Creative Worship Pastor

Main Purpose:

The Creative Pastor is responsible for all creative areas of the church and all DT Campuses. The Creative Pastor provides weekly training, coordination and direction of the worship team, media team and production team.

• Develops and delivers all creative elements of Destiny Temple Marketing Plan.
• Develops and oversees all aspects of song writing & song production.
• Consistently develops church identity through artwork and media.
• Leads team in developing strategic plan for all creative elements of Destiny Temple.
• Communicate the church vision & culture on a regular basis encouraging a passion & heart for the house.
• Stir up creativity and excellence in the music, media and production teams.
• Develop and delivers sermons when required that are relevant and challenge members and un-churched alike to become fully devoted followers of Christ, and maximise their potentials and fulfil destiny.
• Co-ordinate
• Meets regularly with the executive pastor and senior pastor to critique prior worship services and to plan future worship services regarding music selection, transitions and atmosphere.
• Schedules and leads weekly team meetings for planning and motivation of teams and for pastor care.
• Plan and coordinate church service or meetings music (praise and worship) that flows with the preaching themes.
• Takes proactive approach toward identifying problems or challenges and offers creative solutions for resolution.
• Care
• Provides biblical pastoral care to the team members and ensuring that they are maturing in their faith, and growing in their relationships with God and each other
• Maintains and improves working relationships with team by periodically scheduling social events.
• Greets people in foyer before and after worship services; intentionally connects with people around the church.
• Finances
• Develop, present and maintain an annual creative ministry budget.
• Evaluation & Reporting
• Ensures that overall weekly worship services are effective and on target regarding content, style, structure, and design.
• Training
• Plan and carry out training courses for the teams development e.g. instruments playing courses
• Recruit and train more people to be able ministers in the teams.
• Provide training, inspiration and motivation to the team leading to the upgrading of their creative skills.

Qualifications

Music

• Ability to teach and play musical instruments especially guitar and keyboard
• Able to read and write music
• Ability to sing modern christian contemporary songs
• Ability to lead the congregation in praise and worship

Academic

• GCSE/ High School credits
• Diploma or certificate in ministerial studies
• Certificate or diploma in musical studies

Spiritual

• Destiny Temple is a Christian faith organisation and some responsibilities involved in this role include leading prayers, preaching and teaching biblical principles and beliefs, therefore one must be a born again and bible believing Christian.
• Biblical understanding and committed to a prayerful life
• Have Christian morals and conduct.
• Experience
• Have some experience in leading a worship team
• A team player

Others

• Teachable, friendly, and able to connect with the church members and the community.
• Responsible and doesn’t require supervision all the time to do their work.

• Raise DT Band's in all our campuses
• Media to produce excellent and seamless service, and have high quality recordings both audio and videos in all of our campuses
• Establish an effective production team
• Develop and establish an effective creative team.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Salary: £18,000.00-£20,000.00 per year

Work Location: Hybrid remote in Gloucester
